The concept of oiled floors is inspired of a European technique developed centuries ago. In Europe, oil finishes are usually hand applied after the floor has been installed.

We have automated the process of oil finishing in order to offer a ready-to-install product.

The Ancestral^® collection is offered in 6 species, which grow in our local forests. This way, our raw material is transported on short distances, therefore avoiding the emission of large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions. One of our species will certainly correspond to your style and preferences. Whether you chose Larch, Cherry, Ash, Hard Maple, Silver Maple or Red Oak, you will be pleased with your choice

Ancestral^® pre-oiled flooring is also distinguished by the width of the boards offered. Since larch has tremendous dimensional stability, it allows us to offer large plank with widths up to 7 1/4”.
