The BSL Wood Products Group distributes four types of membranes to be used when installing a laminate or engeneered floor.

"Foam" Membrane

Multi-purpose polyethylene acoustic membrane to be used when installing a laminate or engeneered floor.

"Vapor block" Membrane

Multi-purpose polyethylene vapour-block membrane to be used when installing a laminate or engeneered floor.

  • 100% waterproof
  • Non-allergenic, Non-toxic
  • Easy to manipulate and install
  • No odour
  • 3” overlap with auto-adhesive tape
  • Levels surfaces and can be used on all floors (every stories)
  • 200 Sq. Ft. per roll


"Silenzio" Membrane

Multi-purpose polyethylene vapour-block and acoustic membrane to be used when installing a laminate or engeneered floor.

  • Integrated Vapor barrier
  • 100% waterproof
  • Non-allergenic
  • Non-toxic
  • 3” overlap with auto-adhesive tape
  • Easy to manipulate and install
  • Thermal film factor  of R (3) ft-F-hr/BTU-in
  • Approved for radiant floors 
  • 200 Sq. Ft. per roll


"Aluminised" Membrane

Acoustic membrane to be used when installing a laminate or engeneered floor.

  • 3 mm foam doubled with an aluminized coating
  • Overlap with auto-adhesive tape
  • Easy to manipulate and install
  • Tested for its acoustic properties 
  • 200 Sq. Ft. per roll
